The hotel is in a good location. The rooms are clean and have a kitchen area where you can sit. The front desk staff is available 24/7, which is very convenient. Room cleaning is excellent, and the room even has a balcony. The sound insulation in the rooms is generally good, and it is comfortable to sleep. The only downside is that the rooms look bigger in the photos than they actually are. Overall, it’s a good option if you are staying in Barcelona for a short time.

An excellent, spacious accommodation in perfect condition, with impeccable service and cleanliness. It is absolutely worth the money, especially thanks to its location. Looking forward to returning.

The staff speaks only Spanish and struggles to understand even very basic English. For instance, when I asked for a spoon at the reception, they had no idea what I meant and I had to explain it in a roundabout way. In a tourist city like Barcelona, that level of communication gap is unacceptable.

When I checked in, there was a strange man at the reception who handled my arrival in a way that felt awkward and unprofessional. On top of that, I was unexpectedly asked to pay a tourist tax, which was never clearly communicated during booking. It really caught me off guard, but I paid it because I had no other option.

The room itself was extremely small, smelled slightly of dust, and was furnished with very cheap, low-quality furniture. The room I was given did not match the photos on Booking.com at all — I was deeply disappointed when I saw it in person.

Noise was another major issue. There is zero soundproofing — you can hear everything, from people talking loudly in the hallway to drilling at 10 AM, which completely ruined my morning and made it nearly impossible to rest.

The only real positive I can mention is that there was air conditioning in the room. For that, I am at least grateful.

Overall, the hotel looks and feels far below average, and in my opinion, leaves much to be desired. I would personally recommend spending a bit more and booking a higher-quality place elsewhere. This one just isn’t worth it.

I would definitely stay here again if I ever came back to Barcelona. Great location. Great staff. Great cleanliness. Lots of restaurants and 15 minutes to the beach. The only, but not critical, downside is that it is very audible on the street.

I stayed in the hostel for 24 nights and had a very pleasant stay. The room was comfortable with a nice balcony and a lovely view. It was cleaned daily and the hostel stuff was friendly and helpful. The location of the Orleans hostel is also great. It is close to the metro, the Gothic neighbourhood and to the beautiful Ciutadella park. There are many restaurants in the area and unique stores and galleries. I will definitely stay there again when I am in Barcelona.

Very good location and for the price we’ve paid would definitely recommend. AC wasn’t working properly and the shower was broken but cleanliness and location were premium and we enjoyed our stay.
