We went to see Freaky Friday, Absolutely loved it! The cast was so talented! I had seen the movie years ago but didn't really remember it. Forgot how funny it was, and they all did an excellent job! The kids are so very talented. We already have our tickets for Grumpy Old Men in March!

One of the gems of Bastrop. Go watch a great play in the atmosphere of yesteryear! So glad that we have this operating opera house in our town (along with our wonderful local medicine shop), you can really enjoy the small town vibe of days gone past. Thanks to Director Lisa Holcomb, Stacy, Mike F, and others who spend so much time keeping the Opera house experience alive!

Very disappointed in last weekend’s show Wait Until Dark. Not very enjoyable at all. First time at this venue, which was cute, but show not worth the $25 we paid. Maybe we picked the wrong show?

The moment you walk in you are transported to a long ago time of beautiful craftsmanship with every nook and cranny showing detailed artistry. Not only did it host performances but was the place of society for cotillions. They have done a wonderful job of outfitting it with modern lights and a sound system while preserving the historical structure.
