Gem of an Opera House. Built in the late 1800s. Performers signed the back wall. Original size seats which are a little snug but comfortable enough. Volunteer staff with friendly hearts and welcoming to all. No air conditioning. Acoustics are great. Absolutely worth taking in a show here.

I love EOH! The director, Michelle, is the kindest, nicest lady. The staff that I've met over the years have all been very kind people who really seem to care about the place and what they do there. Added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1974, the building itself is worth a visit to see.

I love that they have artist showcases periodically featuring local artists, and that they support local musicians as well. In addition, it's awesome that they host paranormal investigations. I've been part of the group that leads them there for years now, and the attendees have always been so respectful and kind. It's a lovely location to investigate. Also, for any of you paranormal enthusiasts out there- multiple staff have told me firsthand that they feel the place is haunted and relayed their own personal experiences to me. But never fear, nothing that they reported has ever been negative.

In my opinion, EOH is fantastic to work with and a joy to interact with! They make it easy and enjoyable to work with them. I really can't say enough good things! I highly recommend you catch an art show, musical performance, event, or investigation there sometime!

We tried to book online but the website advised “tickets available at the door”. We came for the 10pm tour, basically had to follow the workers up the stairs like creeps until someone finally told us, ‘oh no, not enough people registered ahead of time so we aren’t doing another show, you should have signed up ahead of time’. To their credit, they did offer a discount to the next tour in I’m guessing October (It’s currently June). We planned our whole evening around this tour and drove over 40 minutes to get here, so I said absolutely no thanks. Like I get that it’s a long drive for performers to show but everyone was already gathered. The whole experience was extremely embarrassing and a complete waste of time and gas.

It was a very relaxing atmosphere. I love the old style of it. Its such a beautiful place. Had a great time listening to the band Hightime. Highly recommend giving this place a chance.

Beautiful historic theater! See a show, visit the art galleries, shop there local artisan gift shop! This place has incredible accommodating staff and would love your support. The concert hall is just beautiful!

We went for a production of The Grinch who Stole Christmas by the Sherburne Music Theatre Society. They did a great job. It was nice to go back to live performances. Proof of vaccination is required and you must wear masks indoors. This protects everyone, not just the performer's, but the audience too.
