We just spent a week here and had a great time. ||There were a couple of problems at check in but ultimately we were upgraded to a suite on the first floor. We were told it was very close to a club and directly above a bar but we were fine with that. Admittedly it was very loud into the early hours and we kept both sets of balcony doors open but it never bothered us. |Plus the view was stunning. |To be honest the hotel could do with a little tlc but its position is perfect if you enjoy the bars and restaurants. It’s literally a minutes walk to the nightlife. ||There’s no mad rush to reserve sunbeds and there were more than enough to go round. ||The breakfast wasn’t really to my taste but everyone else seemed to enjoy it and you were spoilt for choice. ||All the staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and our suite was huge, there was even a dressing room. ||We would definitely stay there again.

Honestly having read a lot of negative reviews ……. What a nice surprise - initial|Impression - they had made an effort for Halloween all over the public areas ✅ Thanks to “on the beach” we were upgraded to a seaview room - very pleasant - huge room - very clean - huge bathroom and big balcony. Breakfast very reasonable - good choice - fruit - cereal -hot buffet - Fresh breads and jams. Hams and cheese can’t ask for more - again very clean and tidy - positioned right in The heart of Furengirola with the lovely restaurants and bars on the door step - right opposite the Marina ( lovely walk around ) honestly will be coming back for what we paid it’s a great place - yes it is very old in places and yes would benefit from an upgrade in the corridors to the rooms but honestly, for the short 3 night break we had perfect couldn’t fault it - go in give it a go !!!!

Great location, yes it’s a bit tired but our room was huge, queen bed, immaculately clean with a fridge and a sea view (I emailed the hotel ahead to request this if possible). Breakfast was good, fresh bread, fresh fruit, pastries, hot food, etc.|Enough sun beds in October, not sure about the summer months but the beach is across the road. Pool area like the hotel is tired but again clean.with an enthusiastic Connor organising games if you like darts etc.|Lovely bar area and plenty of bars and restaurants outside of the hotel doors.|Would I come back…yes because it was great value for what we paid per night.

Superb budget style Hotel in a brilliant location. Clean rooms, friendly staff, a pizza joint across the road that's open til 6.30am and loads of good pubs just around the corner. We'll be back...

Staff were brilliant reception bar restaurant and cleaners. Rooms are large and in good condition. Food was good fresh not always hot though. My bedroom external door didn't seal closed so noise from outside travelled into my room. It is very good value for money and convenient for public transport. Pool area could do with modernising. But I have stayed in a few bad hotels and this is NOT one of them.

I’ve stayed at this hotel for 9 nights every October for the last 7 years as part of a golfing group.
Never had any problems. The staff on the front desk are very polite and helpful and this year made numerous phone calls on my behalf after my suitcase was mislaid.
There are 2 sets of lifts near reception which means limited waiting time, even at busy times.
I’ve always found the Breakfast to be of a good quality and great choice (Porridge being available for those who want it).
The rooms have always been clean with fresh towels and beds made everyday.
The location is great (beside the Marina and beaches), plenty of shops and restaurants nearby and a 5 minute walk to the Train and Bus stations.
The pool area is nice with good views out over the Marina and a small bar doing snacks etc.
Overall, it’s a place I’ve no problem recommending & hopefully be back for my 8th year next October.

I came to this hotel with my boyfriend for 7 days. We have been to Fuengirola many times before and we chose this hotel because it was in a nice location ,close to the bars and restaurants and wanted to try something new.|Most of our stay was pleasant , mostly clean rooms , friendly staff . But we encountered a few issues while being there,||The staff confused us with the whole late check out rules. Upon our arrival we asked if we could have a late check out on our last day as our flight was not till 11pm and check out is at 12. We were told if we came down the day before we leave and ask then they will do it for us. When we came down they then told us we could not have one. They do have a room where you can leave your suitcase near the reception. We were told it was locked but later found out it was not locked and anyone could access it. ||The beds are not the most comfortable and are a bit hard, the bathroom is nice and they give u some extra things like toothbrushes and cotton pads which is amazing. There are a few cracks in the walls and holes that have been badly attempted to be filled , we also found a used plaster stuck to my boyfriends side of the bed which was not pleasant and was not cleaned up throughout our whole stay. The air con is okay and you do get a mini fridge.||There is a lot of construction going on around the hotel especially near the pool which we were not informed about until we saw it ourselves.|We were sitting on our balcony when pieces of bricks from other balcony started to fall and hit the ground which I found very unsafe. |Also the people doing the construction were staring down onto my balcony when I was laying in my bikini which made me feel very uncomfortable as they were all middle aged men.||The other thing was the pool , it’s not very accommodating due to construction going on, it is difficult to get to and there are no toilets near by, it was very crowded and me and my boyfriend didn’t end up ever using the pool as there were no sunloungers available.||The last thing is the cleaners , we left our do not disturb sign on for 2 days and then would take it off to clean , no problems with the cleaning itself but they are very noisy. I had been woken up to the cleaners yelling and laughing in rooms next door to us and slamming furniture into walls , they seemed to have no respect for the people still sleeping, they also came anytime between 10am-4pm so there was no way of knowing when you should be out the room for the clean.||I would not stay here again as I know there are nicer hotels in the area for the same price but overall wasn’t a terrible experience

There are only two good things about this hotel - the staff and the breakfast buffet. The staff are all very friendly and provided a good service, and the breakfast was surprisingly very good. The hotel itself, however, is very very budget. You certainly get what you pay for. ||||The pool was absolutely rammed every day with no beds available; there’s a mixture of reclining beds and purely flat beds (very uncomfortable), but you’d be lucky to get either. There were people blaring their own music without any consideration for others; the water looked quite murky, the whole area felt very claustrophobic, and it was just quite a minging pool and pool area. ||||Our corridor on the second floor just stunk of cigarettes; the carpet was gross with lots of rips and holes.||||The room was basic (which we knew prior to booking), but was not clean. There was a cotton bud / q-tip on the bathroom floor upon arrival (which remained the whole holiday… go figure about the room cleaning service), toilet paper stuck to the bidet, and bits of god knows what in the bathtub. The air con may as well not have been installed, it did absolutely nothing, and we had to cold shower before bed every night to try and cool down. ||||You can 100% hear the street noise, there are some reviews here saying you can’t - the reviewers must be elderly or deaf. The first night, the London Pub across the street had karaoke on until the early hours and we couldn’t sleep for the Susan Boyle wannabes. You can also just hear everything - music, people chatting, cars, everything. ||||Honestly, it’s a grim hotel, we kept referring to it throughout our holiday as “the bin”. I advise you to stay elsewhere. Can’t believe it’s rated 4-stars, it’s 2-stars at best.
