The resort was exceptional - from the professional and kind service and the hospitality and thoughtfulness of every single staff member to the delicious food and relaxing atmosphere- our stay for 4 days was everything we had hoped for. The rooms were comfortable, clean, towels and linens were soft and plush. The food, from the all inclusive breakfast table platters and dishes you could order as your choice- to the dinners of flavorful meat and jamón of many varieties. We had such a nice time, can’t say enough about the friendly and accommodating staff- we are sorry we are still in our early stages of learning Spanish but we tried our best. Really nice time, not too far from a major hub (Madrid) and was the relaxation and delicious food experience we wanted. Thank you again to the staff, from the managers to the servers- muchas gracias 🙏 😊

Unique Spanish Manor House in the middle of the “Dehesa Toledana” (large prairies spotted with beautiful Encinas small Mediterranean oaks). |26 rooms, some in the main house some are scattered around the garden. The land surrounding the hotel is a 600 hectare vine, olive and game reserve. |Absolutely beautiful, elegant, quiet and peaceful. Perfect for family events, weddings etc. Or writing a book. The swimming pool is like a private villa’s surrounded by trees I. Front of the main house.|Service at the restaurant and front desk is warm and friendly. The reception hotel telephone unfortunately is seldomly answered by the staff. |Otherwise a memorable experience.

We stayed here for one night with a large group during our annual foreign car rally/tour with our clients. Owner Elizabeth was very friendly and professional in the entire organization of our stay. The staff is extremely friendly, the service very professional and the food is fantastic! But above all: the ambiance here is unique! A nice extra: the safari early in the morning!

It is simply a perfect experience , after years of travelling it is seldom that I can give a 10 out of 10 to any hotel , but this is it. On your visit to the Castilian region, you should consider experiencing the "dehesa" . The traditional rural houses and farms, but renovated to become a luxury hotel with incredible outdoor activities. Watch wild animals like bucks and wildboars in their own habitat. Horse ride and enjoy the sunset in that incredible scenery. And then be able to have a world class dinner (or lunch) with super chef David Muñoz. After the culinary feast, your luxury room full of classy details will be waiting for you. If you visit Spain´s castillian area, and miss Valdepalacios you are missing the best part of the outdoor wildlife / photo safari experience and even world class conservational focused hunting, if thats your thing.

This is just a lovely charming hotel. It is decorated in a tasteful traditional style and very charming. The main building is surrounded with beautiful fragrant walkways ,and peaceful fountains. ||||There are rooms in the main building and scattered around the grounds in lovely cottage style rooms and suites with flat panel TV's and the bathrooms are gorgeous with big showers and tubs. Very tastefully done.||||The food was delicious and we enjoyed coffee and dessert on the terrace near the pool. Breakfasts were very good. The service is excellent throughout the hotel and restaurant. The icing on the cake was the reasonable price for our stay.||||We want to thank all the staff for making our stay special, but especially Jaime Sepulveda, and Jesus. We would definitely stay here again.

In January, we stayed here for 3 nights and I still think of this oasis...sitting in front of one of the several fireplaces in the evenings, reflecting on another beautiful day, and going intonthe spa for even more relaxation. The staff at the hotel are all very warm and welcoming. It is a delight to be there. And the restaurant is excellent, we loved the fine cuisine and adaptation to vegetarisn needs… pasta with truffels for example …we will come back, it is a place seldom found and suited for discerning travellers. The quietness and true luxury stay in my mind and heart. Thank you, amd keep the lemon pie on the desert card forever…

In my view their pricing is excessive for the quality. They need to have better hotel operational management. Front desk is in shambles, disorganised, clueless and do not really understand professional customer service definitely not people with actual training. We were recommended by friends and family that stayed many years ago - when the property probably saw better days and people lacked options. Maybe we paid more for a bigger room with nice view but still in no ways can justify few nights we paid close to 450 euros a night. It’s a 3 star at most, certainly not of the standard to be called a leading small luxury hotel. The property lacks maintenance with shabby fixes, tacky concrete features and constructions in gardens, both hardware and service lacking attention to detail. Spa neglected inside the pool slime cling to the walls. The best part of the hotel is the grounds the nature (ignoring the outbuilding collecting junk), good also are the restaurant maitre’d, who is very professional / waitstaff who were friendly, and the drive through the finca though a stretch to be called safari. Their food they try hard with presentation, ok definitely not Michelin quality which seems it once had not even bib gourmand, kitchen seems over staffed and stressed - again pricing very expensive for the meagre output, also cocktails almost 20 euros for basic grocery store gin, before VAT. I’m fine to pay that prices at real quality hotels but not for thre standard offered by this place. I am really confused by the high rating they have. It’s ok if the price is 150 euros a night. If I were tourists that came to visit fro overseas I’d be sorely disappointed.

Beautiful place with free bikes and lovely cycling. Fantastic breakfast and helpful staff. Our only issue was that our spa bath was broken so we had to move room to not such a nice room. The staff moved all our clothes when we were out and were genuinely apologetic. We would go back especially in May when all the wild flowers are out and you can see wild boar , herds of deer and lovely birds and butterflies. A very peaceful place. The Michelin restaurant was excellent. The whole experience from the ambiance, service and the food. We would recommend you eat there.
