Today, I participated in an event to taste traditional tea and desserts eaten in the Korean Royal palace. It was a short event, but it was full of sincerity, and it was fulfilling to see gayageum and traditional dance performances together. One thing I dissapointed was that I received a confirmation email the day before, so it was difficult to get there on time. Anyway, it was a worthy experience.

This is a great place to come to learn about Korean Culture. They have new exhibits 6-ish weeks so be sure to visit their website for information about their current exhibit. There is also a library and classes to learn the Korean language. K-town is also really close by so you could easily make a full day of immersing yourself in Korean culture.

@KCCLA Please please please bring back full-scale in-person classes , and in-person speech contests, and in-person kpop contests, and Korean food before lessons.

The online classes are fantastic , but that won't replace everything else. We need the old pre-pandemic KCCLA back.

Korean Cultural Center: First floor - receptionist & museum. Second floor - exhibit, concert hall and classrooms.

The museum, the exhibit, the shows & monthly movie nights are all FREE.

Korean Center: They provide maps, booklet and information about traveling to Korea. They have computers for research as well. They also have music station for Kpop music. In addition, there is a mini karaoke booth too!!

If you are traveling to Korea and would like to have more information, this is the perfect place to check it out!!

The Parking: Private parking lot (FREE!!) behind the building.
