Been going to this place for years, I remember getting a loan for one of my cars. A 1967 Alfa Romera Due to Spyder. Don't know if the credit union is still there because that was 60+ years ago. I grew up in that area. Now I go there annually for their Japanese Ondo festival to get my dinners and see old friends.

One of the hidden gems of Long Beach. The regulars who keep the place running are kind hearted souls. They also have obon practice and the festival.

We were pleasantly surprised to find a reputable 7th Dan Japanese kendo teacher here at the cultural center where our daughter now is able to learn a very traditional sport along with its intricate culture (and practice her Japanese language skills).

True Shotokan karate by a firm sensei. This is not a belt dojo, but a dojo in the classic form. Body position, stance, striking&kicking moves are practiced over and over. This is class and not daycare, definitely not for children.
