A very lovely home designed by renowned architect William A. Freret. It is now home of the New Orleans Opera Guild and I believe is also available as a venue for weddings and events as well. The grounds are very nice and well maintained and there is a great sculpture of an opera singer on the front lawn.

Surrounded by stunning houses, this gorgeous home was breathtaking! Saw this house along with several others in the Garden District (best time weekday 4-5pm). Several tours available. I did not get a chance to go inside & am not sure they have those tours, but I spent so much time in love with the outside and yard, that I wouldn't have had time to look inside.

Only house open to public for indoor visits in the garden district. $15 ticket, but very worth it. Beautiful house and furnitures, even better knowledgeable tour guides. Every Monday from 11-3 but their schedule sometimes changes.

Our docent was so sweet and genuinely excited about giving us the tour of the home, she was really the best part of the tour. The home is beautiful with really interesting furniture pieces, I have to say it's not one of the better home tours I've taken in New Orleans. What really made the tour uncomfortable was the greeter, the lady who collected the money and greeted us at the door, she was very rude to us and even worse to the docent, interrupting her and telling her she needed to get going. Just pushy and overbearing that really contrasted with the sweet and relaxed attitude of the docent. She ended up making the whole tour uncomfortable... Unfortunate for the guests and other docents there.
