Obscenely overpriced to the point of humorous. This place was almost empty whereas Savers was heaving with customers. Obviously people have clued on to the ridiculous prices here. Crummy books being sold for way too much. Dirty clothes from $10 and up. Even one drinking glass will set you back $3 or $4 in some cases. Also trying to sell worthless vhs tapes for huge prices, in one case $25 for something probably worth 50 cents. I have collected vhs for nearly 30 years and can tell you that some of the prices they are asking are just ludicrous. The place should just shut down.

Lady who worked on 6th Aug around between 2-3pm stopped me walking out of the store as if I was a shoplifter. So I showed her inside of my own Johnny big blazer jacket and everything then she said " we have Jonny big blazer in stock " AS IF I stole my own jacket ? I said " it's my own jacket" then she said "sorry to bother you " . I understand about shoplifting as I work in the retail, but the way she accused me of was so disgusting. Awful experience.

One of the most expensive and overpriced op shops I’ve ever been in. Filthy stained clothing and shoes were the cheapest apparel items and they were $10 and up, anything clean or in relatively good condition was at least double that. Op shops were started because you couldn’t afford to buy new, it seems the op shops and the staff pricing the items have forgotten why they exist sadly. Walked around horrified by the exorbitant prices and dirty items.

The ladies here were incredibly rude.

I tried on some pieces a second time because I was unconvinced with the $40 price tag. One of the skirts was very long, and I noticed the bottom hem was completely frayed. It was messy and unkept, but the plain black/purple skirt was still marked for $30 (‘vintage’). I asked to have the price adjusted, but was rudely told that it wasn’t possible. I nodded and said I’d think about it.

When I asked to take the skirt to try and find another one with a similar waist, she snapped that ‘you’ve already tried it on twice.’ I clarified I would use it to find a matching waist measurement from other clothes on the rack. She then replied, ‘don’t drag it along the ground sweetie,’ as I was holding the skirt gently with both arms?

Could hardly call this an op shop. All clothes were so overpriced, justified with ‘vintage!’ handwritten labels. The space is unkept with blankets over clothes hangers and the service is something else. I’m amazed this still stands.

this op shop on sydney road has the WORST vibes ever! the owners and counter staff are really really rude. you can’t even ask a question or get served without feeling like a burden to them

they also don’t sort the clothes by sizes. I genuinely couldn’t find anything over a size 12 at this op shop. really disappointing as the average size is a 16

the prices are also ridiculous. an op shop is meant to be cheap for vulnerable people, you guys legit sell worn anko shirts for $25. yikes do better

The woman at the front repeatedly harassed my friends and I, accused me of stealing. There was mirror out the back which I wasn't allowed to try a jacket on in front of because she 'couldn't watch me'. I don't understand why you would open a shop just to be contumelious and accusatory to your clientele. Many of my friends have had the same experience in this shop - I will not be returning.

The staff in this shop are very rude and domineering. Shoppers are unable to try on clothes in privacy without being harassed by the clerk. I will not be returning to this establishment.

Staff were lovely and pricing was fair. I have been to a number of op shops recently around Brunswick and have to say that pricing here was the lowest/fairest I've found (so far), or at the standard...and Brunswick is more expensive that a lot of suburbs around Melbourne. I paid a little extra on one special item that I thought was justified and it was the price of most basic dresses found next door at savers.

Also impressed with the array of clothing and fun patterns all wonderfully curated. I had beautiful discussions with staff, and they made sure they weren't imposing on me browsing etc. The owner is gloriously eccentric and reading previous reviews I think it comes down to how you engage with others is the response you get in life. I wish this place all the best to getting to the point of being able to run a dog sanctuary and you have my full support ?
