The art class was a really great experience, fun and meditative at the same time, while learning about the intricate geometrical designs of the Alhambra. You get to choose the design you want to draw, and then you choose the paint colors that you want to use. Kate and Mark are so nice, knowledgeable, and helpful, and they have years of experience as teachers and artists. I highly recommend the Geometric Art Studio if you love art and want to meet some new people and have a unique experience in Granada. And you get to go home and hang a beautiful piece of geometric art on your wall that you made yourself.

This workshop was my birthday gift to my best friend and it was bull's eye! We went together after visiting the Alhambra the day before and we had some fun and interesting hours with Kate, who is fabulous. And we came back with each a nice piece too. Kate is very nice and knows perfectly well what she is doing, I came to admire her profound knowledge about this art form and her teaching skills. Me being an absolute beginner and my friend way much more artistic both found our needs met. Highly recommended for everybody.

I tried to see if they were open but they had not opened for the day due to extreme weather warnings. After WhatsApping Mark, he happily volunteered to come in just for me.

I had the most amazing session. I’m sure many of us would have seen the beautiful patterns within the Alhumbra, and the class with him helped me create a very unique souvenir from Granada! Mark was friendly, informative, patient (I’m terrible with arts and craft) and very easy to talk with as we spoke about more than just the artwork, the Alhambra (and how painstaking it must have been to create these patterns on such a large scale).

This session was the highlight of my trip to Granada and definitely a must do if you’re visiting Granada.

Would definitely recommend doing this art course while you’re in Granada. I did the 3 hours introduction course. Kate was such a nice person and explained everything very thoroughly. I’m super happy with the result, it’s my personal little souvenir from my trip in Spain.

Absolutely loved taking this class and having a unique piece of art to bring home. Kate is a fantastic teacher. The space and location are beautiful. The class was about 3 hours, and included an overview of geometric patterns from the Alhambra. I loved using a compass for the first time in 20 years and relearning some watercolor basics from a pro. Definitely one of the coolest and most memorable souvenirs I will ever own. I can't recommend enough!
