I was at the center this past week for a United Nations event that was excellent. The space itself is beautiful, there are statues, photos and multimedia exhibits as well I believe. Upstairs in the main room there is a large colorful mural depicting key moments in the life of Malcolm X.

What a fascinating place filled with important history. Above and beyond the history, the building itself is a gorgeous work of art. This is a gem in which I look forward to spending more time.

Feeling honored to have been able to visit on yesterday! Yes, they are open. You have to go up to the second set of double doors and the nicest security guard will let you in. They are in the process of remodeling for upcoming events, so your patience and even donations I’m sure will be greatly appreciated. Thank you for the visit!

That was one of the most historical and uplifting exhibit and memorial I have ever seen. It was the high point of my New York visit. Being from Memphis Tn and my first trip to NYC it was an awesome experience. I will never forget the great feeling of walking in the place where Malcolm X spoke and walked. I love Harlem and NYC. THANKS

Good morning.
Like everyone else in the world. I have an open heart and mind to the Work and Legacies of Sir. Malcolm X and his dear wife Dr Betty Shabazz. I had the pleasure of attending the commemorative ceremony on 2-21-2016. My prayers continually go up to God concerning the family and those they love. Sometimes it seems as if some.people expect them to be stoic and stiff fleshed. They're just people, who had parents that they love and miss so much. We love you! May God bless them.
