Absolutely excellent!!! The show (Ragtime) was amazing. They really know what their doing. It's not a huge opera house, so we were able to see everything and everyone. Recommend sitting in the balcony. You can see it all. Will definitely be back for more shows

The stage is small, but the voices are big! Every production is beautifully sung and a joy to watch. Not a bad seat in the house. There is plenty of parking in the hospital lot next door and in nearby school lots. However, be aware that, as in most places, you'll have to move fast at intermission to get in the long line for the ladies' room.

First time attending a performance here and Wow! What an amazing production of Carmen. The singing and choreography were superb, as was costuming and set. Fabulous local talent with professionals. I was so pleasantly surprised. I’m not a huge opera fan, but after seeing this, I want to come back for more! What a hidden gem in our town!!

My first time attending a performance at UAO and was delighted. I loved the church’s infrastructure, the friendly and helpful staff and the performers were top notch.

Great location with plenty or parking options and very close to Delmar Loop for a quick bite before or after the performance. Ticket prices were very reasonable and a big plus is having the honour to witness the operas in their original language.

Carmen, seen from modern culture, is open to a lot of criticism re:depiction of Roma women. Plus, 1875 was not devoid of domestic violence. Let's kill her for not wanting me. However, the voices were great, I loved the music and the intimacy of the theater was fantastic.

I have been a patron for many years, the Artistic Director has taken this declining church into a vibrant venue of world class quality opera for all to enjoy.

Really enjoyed the show (H.M.S. Pinafore)!
All the performers sang very well and did fantastic job, fun with lots of energy. We will be going back and will probably sit in the balcony for a better view.
